Soil protection

Our soil is finite and must therefore be protected. The aim of soil protection is to protect the soil from harmful changes. Damage to or the loss of important soil functions, such as providing a habitat for numerous animals, the filter function for our drinking water or the basis for food production, must therefore be avoided. Optimally, effective soil protection can sustainably safeguard or even restore soil functions.
